A simply scary home-invasion thriller that concentrates on suspense and terror rather than on the story and gore. This movie is very mysterious and the tension is build up after a few minutes. It contains a few good jumps scares and has a very good sound design and sound editing. The Strangers isn't a typical splatter movie but for that very scary and thrilling. Definitely recommended to watch!
