This is a home of best paranormal horror movies these are horror movies with supernatural elements, such as ghosts and spirits, haunted house, possession, devil and daemons, witches and occult.
A perfect blend of a shocker and high tension horror movie. It keeps high tension for the entire movie and whenever you think that there is going to be a shock scene you get a cold shower and than when you least expect you will be shocked.
This is a very good addition to the Conjuring universe horror movies, very good tension keeping horror with a lot of pretty scary shocker scenes that look really professional which you should expect from James Wan creator of some of the best horror movies. It is a bit longer than The conjuring and more intense.
A very controversial horror movie. Annabelle has a few good shockers but you can't compare the tension and the jump scares with the conjuring. It's still enjoyable to watch for a horror evening.
Much better than the first part. The story is more interesting and detailed and contains a continuous tension, which implements good shockers. Perfect for a scary horror night!
Annabelle Comes Home is the third iteration of Annabelle series of horror movies. By the whole experience it is somewhere in the neighborhood of Annabelle the original movie.... Annabelle Comes Home is equipped with tons of shocking scenes some of which are less predictable than the others but the story behind the movie is simply poor. If your goal is to be scared it is a good movie to consider watching and a must watch if you are a fan of The Conjuring universe movies.
The Nun is a horror movie with very good and dark created visuals but it's full of predictable jump scares, which aren't really scary. There are a few moments, where it gets creepy but all in all it doesn't come close to James Wan masterpiece the conjuring. It seems... like the main focus of this movie was the tons of jump scares and the dark environment so that the story comes up a little short. It's still solid for a movie night with your partner.
Sinister is a great horror movie, which u can't define in one specific genre. It's more a small combination of a ghost, monster and serial killer movie, which makes it even more frightening. Ethan Hawke, who plays a crime writer, is really good in this movie... and exudes credibility. This movie has a great line of sustaining tension, which deflates for a while and rises back up. It also has a few predictable jump scares, and even if it's predictable at times, it will scare you! Sinister is definitely a creepy and disturbing horror movie, which you should watch!
You shouldn't expect much of this movie. Sinister 2 is trying to bring back the elements from the prequel, like the creepy tapes but the implementation didn't succeed. The whole story is weak, flimsy and recycled. The child actors were really bad... and the adult actors didn't do well also. If you want you can watch it to complete the sinister series or to see more disturbing videotapes from Bughuul.
If you love jump scares this could be the right movie for you! The Curse of La Llorona has a great folklore story, which is really creepy. The movie has a lot of jumps scares and continuous tension. However, the course of the movie is almost the same as... other paranormal haunted house movies, which we have seen 1000 times. One of the bigger pluses is acting. Linda Cardellini and Raymond Cruz are both really good and the kids are also very excellent. The CGI is okay and not very special. We suggest: watch it alone or with your partner in the dark with some candlelight and don't forget to turn your volume up!
Excellent shocker! This movie starts to be scary from the very first seconds. High tension! A lot of PERFECT jump scares! And almost no time to rest! It is a MUST WATCH horror movie!
nsidious is the first out of four chapters in the Insidious movie series. It's a very good paranormal horror movie made by James Wan the same director that brought us the conjuring. It has a lot of great jump scares and a really tough tension that ...just keeps pressuring you for the entire movie. The scenes are very well shot with a good attention to detail. Definitely a must watch!
