The Nun is a horro movie with very good and dark created visuals but it's full of predictable jump scares, which aren't really scary. There are a few moments, where it gets creepy but all in all it doesn't come close to James Wan masterpiece the conjuring. It seems like the main focus of this movie where the tons of jump scares and the dark environment so that the story comes up a little short. It's still solid for a movie night with your partner.
When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order's unholy secret.
