Samuel Mullins (Anthony LaPaglia) a doll manufacturer lives with his family on a farm. Twelve years later, after his daughter has been hit by a car and died, Samuel and his wife welcome a nun and six orphaned girls to live in his home. They could do whatever they wanted to except to enter the room that belonged to his daughter, which Samuel has locked. Janice (Talitha Eliana Bateman ), one of the six girls, was too curious and managed to enter into this locked room. She is driven by something that looks like Bee's ghost. Janice finds the Annabelle doll in the room. Very strange and terrifying things start happening in the house. At first only young girls notice things happening. Janice's best friend Linda (Lulu Wilson) figures out first what is going on. She goes to Mr. Mullins and tells him about these strange events. Very fast things got only worse and the situation escalated quickly. Linda finally menages to convince Sister Charlotte that the root of the problem is the doll. So Sister Charlotte confronts Mr. Mullins, and he already knows and understands what is going on around. He is not stunned by this information because things like this have been happening before and they managed to deal with it. But this time the method they used the first time won't be enough. For things Janice has done, she paid her price and the devil awoke.
